The Radford Redbud Festival, 2023

Appalshop's Seedtime on the Cumberland Festival Flyer, 2020

-
The Seedtime on the Cumberland Festival Graphics, 2020
They wanted a flyer representative of the local flora and fauna of the Appalachian region. I chose to include a deer, a possum, squirrels, and raccoon pair, all of which are peeking out of the woods. The clients wanted wildlife, the forest, and the Appalachian mountains to be the focal points of the piece.
I designed these graphics for Appalshop to use for their flyer handouts at the festival that would have included the festival’s line-up and workshops being held within the building.

Girls Rock Whitesburg Showcase Poster, 2018
While volunteering at the first-ever Girls Rock Whitesburg Camp, I was elected as the in-house artist/ graphic designer. I was commissioned to create a fun and colorful poster for the end of the week-long camps showcase, in which the bands performed on stage in the Appalshop facilities. For this poster, I used what was handy (Crayola markers, a pen, and whiteout) to create a flyer that spoke to all three of the band’s vibes, band names, and logos. I completed this in about a day and a half at the beginning of the week for promotional material to be printed and distributed by the end of the week.
-
Girls Rock Whitesburg T-Shirt Development, 2018
After designing the flyer, during one of the volunteer meetings, we discussed the possibility of t-shirts being made to sell to make funds to support camp efforts. This was in the middle of the week, so there was a pretty substantial time limit to be able to make this happen. I stepped up and took on the task.
This is a detailed image of the stamp carvings I carved to use to print the shirts.
-
Stamp Print Test Run, 2018
After carving the stamps for print, I decided to do a test run of the design to develop a printing method of inking, hand placing, and pressing the stamps onto the shirts.
After developing my printing method, I began work on hand printing over 130 shirts in all sizes from S-3XL. I printed all the shirts in two and a half days, printing all the way up to the showcase.
